This suite of furniture is selected by an interior designer for his eponymous design office. Technically it is not a residential space, but the furniture was treasured and used by the designer and his team as if it is a part of their family.
The styles were essentially picked from our standard collection, but most of them are custom adapted to fit the needs of the designer. Foremost are two four meter long desks with hidden drawers. Material constraints and the sheer scale of the desks make them orders of magnitude more difficult to craft than typical size desks. To reduce the potential of sagging in the centre we crafted them with reference to the structural technique of suspension bridges.

家具款色都是从我们标准系列挑选出来的，但大部分都需要特别改造来满足设计师的需要。比较突出的是两张 4000mm 长并配有隐蔽抽屉的写字台。木材的材料局限与异常庞大的体积令这两张写字台比一般家具的制造困难得多。为了减少台面中间下坠的幅度，我们参考了吊桥的桥面制造方法来制造写字台的台面。

Ask any woodworker and he or she will tell you the difficulty to prepare a set of hard wood frames that are four meters long - not purchasing pre-made frames from the lumbar suppliers typical in construction industry, but preparing them from a tree bole. To make them dimensionally accurate to the millimeter and climatically stable is just the beginning of the long crafting process.
