This client is blessed with an impressive design sense, despite not working in the industry. They have the ability to turn a rented apartment into one that looks impeccably furnished, yet at the same time lively and full of warmth.
Shown in the photos below are a set of bespoke screens SC 646 we designed to help them partially shield off a study space from the main bedroom area. The master bed is subsequently replaced by a new one we specially designed for them, having a hint of Japanese mood.
Having then moved away from Hong Kong, and lately moved back again, the client is now staying in another apartment - as expected elegantly furnished with his talent once again. It will be covered in another story shortly.

这客人的设计审美眼光是独到的，虽然不是在设计行业工作。他门可以独自把租住的家布置得美轮美奂，但同时又满有生活温暖感。
照片上可以看到我们特别为他门睡房设计的 SC 646 屏风，让睡眠区跟小书台区分隔开来。那主人睡床其后被换上我们设计的带有日本美学风格的睡床。
客人其后搬迁离开香港多年，但近期又重新搬回来。他门的新居也跟往迹一样很是漂亮，在在显露他门的设计天分。我们会在不久的将来为这新居作另一报道。

For the study area, a set of modern filing cabinets CA 910A were designed, for the neat storage of items that are to be stored away. To set in harmony, an open SH 4 is used for the display of books and photo frames. There is even a matching printer cabinet CA 910B on caster wheels!

我们特别为他门的书房设计了一系列家具。两件一套的高文件柜 CA 910A 让文件与零散的档案夹整洁收纳起来。要达至空间平衡，我门也加上富于空间感的 SH 4 来让他门摆放照片，小摆设与其他书籍。我们甚至设计了一个相配的带轮子小柜 CA 910B来摆放打印机与附属的物品。

The open work lattice of the set of screens look geometric and simple, but the construction is meticulous. Observe the photos below on the joinery structure of the rectangular components. The wooden tongues are integral to the short horizontal frames, in rectangular shape. These provide secure attachments unlike typical industrial circular wood pegged or stapler connection. These rectangular components are each partially finished before fully assembled into the master frames. This makes the crafting much more tedious and costly, but the set of screens look much more refined.
The crafting photos also show how the bed's aprons are joined together by interlocking dovetail joints instead of metal parts.

那配备花板的屏风看似图案简单，但其实结构严谨。请看照片上显示的每一个长方形空格图案，方格的短木方都延长变为方形榫头以插进旁边的木方。这跟市面大部分的木栓或金属钉结构大相径庭。这些长方形空格图案都经过初步的刮磨涂漆工序才被组装到屏风的主框上。这方法令工序变得复杂而成本高，但屏风的最终效果却带有很不一样的立体感。
照片也显示了床的裙边木板怎样经过燕子尾榫牢固连接而不是用主流的低端金属配件。
