For some years this client made visits to us from time to time, each time coming to us for various furniture needs. Most of these we can fulfil from our standard collection. It is worthy to mention that for the melon shaped drum stool shown below, they have a whopping four of them, purchased in two batches.
There were two times however that their creative genes were awakened, prompting the client to come to us with rough hand drawn sketches showing what were the ideas in their mind. After understanding what they would like to achieve, the work that followed was for us to figure out how it was to be achieved, as well as filling up the missing links that make a design workable and coherent. We were greatly satisfied with the finished products, we believe the client agreed too. The two items of furniture, a coffee table and a tall chest, would become two of the most daring in our design history. And perhaps of all our furniture that he owns now for his bedroom, study and living space, perhaps these two items, bearing their mark, were the most treasured.

但有两次他门的原创基因受到激发，令他门把心里所想的意念在纸上描画了概念图出来。当细心明白他门的想法后，我们要组织并规划怎样把意念付诸实现，包括怎样造出可行并归一的设计，并把忽略了的细节补上。我们对于最终的制成品颇为满意，我们相信客人也同意。这两件特制家具，一件咖啡台与一个高抽屉柜，已变成了我们替客人定制家具其中的表表者。大概在我们提供给他门的所有家具中，包括睡房家具，书房家具与客厅家具等，这两件由于载有他门的独有印记，所以是最被宠爱的。

The following crafting progress photos may reveal to you that our finishing processes for furniture quite often start before the full assembly for a piece. It is quite evident from the photos for the tall chest. For clients with curiosity, we can also go to lengths to describe how the framed panel construction in pure joinery is not only functionally sturdy, but a design beauty to be admired.
One can also observe that the tall chest underwent an extra crafting procedure of bleaching and the associated water polishing steps. This is to better prepare the color of the wood surfaces for the subsequent staining process.
