Like many of our clients, this client builds up their collection of our furniture over the years, quite often acquiring new ones when they move home. Very amusing is that in one of their moves, the buyer of their house loves our daybed so much that he insisted to buy it with the house. To make up for the loss, our client subsequently ordered a new one from us. We are earnestly waiting for their next move!

From the following crafting photos, one will get a sense of how the railings of the daybed are locked onto the base through dovetail joints. On top of being pure in implementation, this mechanism also technically far excel the modern attachment methods that almost always involves screws. We use the same mechanism of structure for all our beds and canopy beds as well, demonstrating how the ingenuity of joinery structure never ages.
