"Guests arrive at Rosewood London through an archway that opens into a grand Edwardian courtyard, in a little oasis of tranquility unique among luxury hotels in London. It is the perfect start to a memorable stay in a timeless heritage hotel, set just steps from Covent Garden."
How accurate is the description for the Rosewood London on its web site.
An air of nobility permeates every space within the hotel, coupled with an unmistakable sense of history. Kudos to Tony Chi and his team in blending chic freshness with the deep legacy in the historic building.
Our furniture starts greeting guests in the magical copper toned entry foyer. Further in you will find their presence in the main lobby, the Mirror Room restaurant, as well as in other areas of common space. Most however can be found in the Suites and Signature Suites - cabinets, coffee tables, trunks, side tables, dressing tables, dining table, etc. All pieces perform humbly as a part in an orchestrated mood of sumptuousness and richness.

In the crafting photos shown below, one can gain a deeper understanding on the construction and the crafting nature of a big armoire. It is interesting just to appreciate all the various features made to the underside of the top of the cabinet. All of them need to be precisely hand made so they can fit seamlessly with the corresponding panels, tongues and wood hinges of the vertical components of the cabinet.
